How to Apply

Application Deadlines

First deadline for Fall admisisons:  March 1
Second deadline for Fall admissions:  May 15

Note: Priority consideration will be given to applications received by March 1. After these deadlines, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. These applicants are strongly encouraged to contact our office (TumorBiology@georgetown.edu).

To initiate an application, you can apply online.

Application Requirements:

  • Application Form
  • Application Fee
  • Personal Statement (Include your reasons for choosing tumor biology research as a career and your past research experience, if any)
  • Official Transcript(s)
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Score
  • TOFEL (International student applicants only;  Minimum of 550 on paper and 80 on Internet-based test )
  • WES  (International student applicants only)

The Tumor Biology Program follows the application procedures of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
